Hello Jan,
You don’t know me, but I was a good friend of your late husband Rufus. We both grew up in Karachi, Pakistan and went to the same school St. Patrick High School and were classmates. We were very close friends in school but life separated us. I went on to graduate from medical school and became a physician, practicing medicine just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for almost 40 years. I married a local Philadelphia girl and we have three children and five grandchildren. I am now retired and enjoying the fruits of the easy life. In the past I tried looking up Rufus but was unsuccessful. It was by a stroke of good luck that I was able to locate my good friend but terribly saddened to learn that he passed on. Please accept my deepest condolences and my profound regret that I couldn’t get to contact him while he was still alive. If you can, please let me know some information about Rufus and his life in the UK. Please accept my apologies if I am imposing upon you in any way. God Bless you.
